The Wizard Fingerboard Polish is widely recommended by many guitarists and luthiers in Australia as it contains all the natural oils that feed and protect timber. All non-lacquered fingerboards should have polish applied at least once every 3 months (about how often you should change your strings). The Wizard polish repels the impregnation of sweat and dirt which would eventually cause cracking in the fingerboards. In fact, this polish is so good that many antique shops are using it on their restoration pieces and for protection of their wares.
